The Software Geezers discussion forum - Registration Agreement

Sorry to bore you with these terms. I'll be as brief as possible. We happily invite you to join our Software Geezers forum to talk about Software Geezers' products. Everyone is welcome, but remember, you are a guest. Should you fail to act accordingly, in a civilised, respectful manner towards our forum and our other guests, we will kick you out never to return. Which means you losing access to technical support (yes, we won't help troublemakers and people with bad attitudes!).

What exactly constitutes 'civilised behaviour'? Perhaps the easiest measure is to act as if you were talking in a Primary/Junior school. Do not use profanities, insults, or generally be unpleasant in any way. Don't lose your temper at someone - if you find yourself getting annoyed, step away from the keyboard. come back when you've cooled down, or just ignore them. Also do not go off topic, talking on a tangent. This isn't the place to discuss the latest celebrity news or political event - there are plenty of other forums on the internet for that!

To help with maintaining the forum, you'll have to accept that some uninteresting information about you will be stored. User IP Addresses (like telephone numbers for computers) are stored so we can block trouble makers. You also have some data stored in a cookie on you computer to let you log on automatically. There is absolutely no data harvesting in operation, and no data exchange with anyone else. If we're really unlucky, we may get hacked and maybe someone will steal info. It probably won't happen, but you just need to be aware like any online service.

We may edit, move, and remove posts as needed to maintain the forum and keep things tidy. We may notify posters of any edits we make, but sometimes we're just too busy making better software and you'll just have to accept such changes in good faith. If you want to ask about something, you can contact (send private mail) the Administrator.

If that all sounds good and fair to you, proceed with your registration, and welcome aboard!
